Workshop for the New Gardener
TREPA News followers will be pleased to learn that the Tri County Local Food Network is hosting a workshop for people who want that to know how to start and care for their backyard garden. Bill Rose, a local resident and avid gardener, will take you through the basic steps to getting your garden started and how to take care of it. Mr. Rose has been a strong advocate for people to grow more of their own food and welcomes the opportunity to share his skill and experience with growing vegetable in the backyard.
The workshop will be on Thursday June 2nd from 6:00-7:30 at the Western Counties Regional Library. Come with your enthusiasm to learn how to grow more of your own food. Everyone is welcome and the session is free. For more information call the Tri County Women’s Centre 742-0085.
