The Mersey Tobeatic Research Institute (MTRI) is hosting a project update and volunteer appreciation event Sunday, November 7th, from 2-4 pm at the Carleton Fire Hall. Among the items that will be discussed are the results of the water quality testing done this year and just completed last week including results for Lake Fanning, Sloans Lake and Raynards Lake in the Carleton River system as well as results for Salmon Lake, Bennetts Lake, Wilsons Lake and Kegeshook Lake. Everyone is welcome to attend.
