TREPA Cleans Mood Road Car Park.
TREPA members Carol, Margrit, Art, and John completed a pickup of four bags of garbage, part of a bag of recyclables, and a motorbike tire from the Mood road car park Saturday morning, June 9th, as part of World Cleanup 2012. In celebratory spirt someone had unrolled a roll of toilet paper and festooned it in front of the Port-a-Potty and there were a few bits of clothing tossed near the same structure. The Department of Transport is still working in the area (hence the Port-a-Potty) and has deposited the tail ends of a couple of loads of asphalt on the edges of the lot which we assume will be removed to a proper location.
