2012 Southwest Nova Biosphere
Photo Contest
Contest time period: March 1, 2012 – May 31, 2012
Prizes:
- 1st place winning photo will be the cover photo on the SNBRA brochure for 2012, and the winning participant will receive a one night stay for a family of 4 at Mersey River Chalets in a tipi or a wall tent, and photo will be included in the SNBRA 2012 summer newsletter.
- 2nd place photo will receive $20 farmer’s market bucks from the Whippletree Farm, Annapolis Market stall, and photo will be included in the SNBRA 2012 summer newsletter.
- 3rd place photo will receive a reusable water bottle (donated from The Applied Geomatics and Research Group, AGRG) and photo will be included in the SNBRA 2012 summer newsletter.
*All prizes are non-transferable.

Eligibility:
Contest is open to all residents and visitors of the Southwest Nova Biosphere Reserve (except contest sponsors or judges, and immediate families of all these persons, or professional photographers).
How to Enter:
A limit of one (1) entry per person. Each photo or image submitted must be taken within the Southwest Nova Biosphere Reserve (which includes Kejimkujik National Park and National Heritage Site and the 16 Rural Municipalities), and must include the photographer’s name, address, telephone number. A title and a two or three sentence description of the image must be included and names of persons shown are appreciated, but not mandatory.
Photo Format: Preferably JPEG, but BMP will be accepted as well.

All photos or images submitted become the property of The Southwest Nova Biosphere Reserve Association, which shall have the right, at any time, to publicly display, publish (on paper or electronically) or otherwise use any photo or image. Persons submitting entries are responsible to ensure the consent of any person shown in the photo or image.
Judges Decisions:
All decisions of the judges with respect to all aspects of the contest are final.
Chances of Winning:
Chances of winning are dependent on the total number of entries received, and on the quality of photos or images entered.
